Trust Infrastructure Day 2024

Relive the insights from Trust Infrastructure Day at ETHCC in Brussels! This post features recordings of all the event’s talks, also conveniently compiled in a playlist. Whether you attended or missed the event, these discussions are packed with valuable information for your projects and your understanding of what trust infrastructure is. Enjoy the knowledge shared by our industry experts!

We started the day with our own Sylve’s opening talk on « what is trust infrastructure »:

Aztec’s Arnaud Schenk on « why trust infrastructure », an essential introduction:

Jeremy Bruestle, from Risc Zero, talks about unleashing zero-knowledge proofs, their real-world applications, and production-ready solutions:

Kitty Horlick from Rarimo tells us about unlocking private but verifiable social graphs, which allows, among other things, for secure voting in authoritarian countries:

Nitya Subramanian, from Capsule, shares on- and offchain approaches to trusted transacting.

Nicolas Gailly, at Lagrange, wonders about verifiable data provenance for the new Internet.

Tonk’s Baz introduces tools for conspiracies that scale, including Tonk’s new product, Speakeasy.

Over at Topology, Oak makes an excellent presentation on CRDT objects for peer-to-peer multiplayer applications.

Learn more about primitives for network privacy with Will Scott from Protocol Labs.

Finish the day with a flourish, with Hersh Patel (Opacity) and Mike Perhats (Nosh) explaining how they build a self-sovereign Internet through cryptography, including a real-life case study with Nosh, a driver and delivery cooperative.

We also had great workshops, which were not recorded. It was a pleasure to co-host Trust Infrastructure Day with our friends at Aztec, and we’re looking forward to the next great Trust Infrastructure event!

Reach out to us if you’d like to talk about trust infrastructure and the intersection of cryptography, attestations, and novel social technology. We’d love to feature you on our blog and think about cool stuff to build together.
